1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Services.

3.1. Registration Requirements

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must promptly update your information if it changes.

3.2. Account Security

• You are responsible for all activities under your account.
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use.
• Multiple accounts are permitted but each must independently comply with these Terms.

3.3. Account Restrictions

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms
• Show signs of fraudulent activity
• Engage in abuse of the Services
• Attempt to game or manipulate the system

4. Salesforce Integration

4.1. OAuth Authorization

• You authorize us to access your Salesforce account through OAuth.
• You remain responsible for maintaining your Salesforce credentials.
• We do not store your Salesforce password.

4.2. Usage Limitations

• You must comply with Salesforce's terms of service.
• We are not responsible for any issues with your Salesforce account.
• We may suspend integration if we detect abuse.

5. Code Submissions

5.1. Ownership and License

You retain ownership of code you submit.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Share your code on social media
• Use your code for AI training
• Use your code for educational purposes
• Use your code for marketing and promotional activities

5.2. Representations and Warranties

You represent that your submissions:

• Are your original work or properly licensed
• Do not violate any third-party rights
• Do not contain malicious code
• Comply with all applicable laws

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Submit malicious or harmful code
• Attempt to bypass security measures
• Scrape or collect data without permission
• Share account credentials
• Automate submissions without authorization
• Interfere with other users
• Manipulate or game the scoring system
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. Subscription and Payment Terms

7.1. Subscription Plans

• Free Plan: Access to basic features at no cost
• Bolt Plan: Premium monthly subscription with enhanced features
• Plans and pricing subject to change with 30 days notice

7.2. Payment Terms

• All fees are in US Dollars (USD)
• Payments processed securely through Stripe
• Valid credit or debit card required for paid subscriptions
• All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes
• You are responsible for all applicable taxes

7.3. Billing and Auto-Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew monthly
• Billing occurs on the same day each month
• Card on file will be charged automatically
• You must cancel before renewal date to avoid charges
• No prorated charges or refunds for partial months

7.4. Cancellation

• Cancel anytime through your account settings
• Cancellation effective at end of current billing period
• Access to paid features continues until period ends
• No partial month refunds
• Downgrade to Free plan after cancellation

7.5. Refund Policy

• 7-day satisfaction guarantee for first-time subscribers only
• Request refund within 7 days of initial subscription
• No refunds after the 7-day period
• No refunds for subsequent renewal periods
• No refunds for account termination or suspension
• Refunds processed within 5-10 business days

7.6. Payment Failures

• We will attempt to notify you of payment failures
• Grace period of 7 days to update payment information
• Account downgraded to Free plan after grace period
• Loss of access to paid features upon downgrade

7.7. Price Changes

• 30 days advance notice for price increases
• Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance
• Option to cancel before new pricing takes effect
• Promotional pricing may have different terms

8. Account Termination

8.1. Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account:

• Without prior notice
• For any conduct that violates these Terms
• At our sole discretion
• Without providing refunds
• Without explanation

8.2. Termination Process

• 15-day cooling-off period
• Data preservation during cooling-off
• Permanent deletion after cooling-off
• No recovery after permanent deletion

8.3. Effects of Termination

• Loss of access to all content and features
• No refunds except as specified in Section 7.5
• Disconnection of integrated services
• Retention of anonymized contributions

9. Service Modifications

9.1. Service Changes

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue any part of the Services
• Change or remove features
• Adjust scoring systems
• Update challenge content
• Modify or discontinue integrations

9.2. No Liability

We are not liable for:

• Service interruptions
• Data loss
• Feature modifications
• Integration issues
• Performance problems

10. Content License

10.1. Our Content

• All challenge content is our intellectual property
• You may not reproduce or distribute our content
• You may not create derivative works
• You may not use our content commercially

10.2. Your Content

• You retain ownership of your submissions
• We may use your content as specified in Section 5
• We may remove your content at any time
• We may modify or adapt your content

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• MERCHANTABILITY
• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• NON-INFRINGEMENT
• SYSTEM INTEGRATION
• SECURITY
• ACCURACY

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed $100 or amounts paid in the last 12 months
• We are not liable for any loss of data or business interruption

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from:

• Your use of the Services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another
• Your submitted content

14. Changes to Terms

14.1. Modifications

• We may modify these Terms at any time
• Changes are effective immediately upon posting
• Your continued use constitutes acceptance

14.2. Notice

• We will notify you of material changes
• 30 days notice for significant changes
• Immediate effect for minor changes

15. Governing Law

15.1. Jurisdiction

• These Terms are governed by Delaware law
• You agree to Delaware jurisdiction
• Disputes will be resolved in Delaware courts

• Informal resolution first
• Mandatory arbitration
